Betty Jean Miloian. Age 86 of Southgate.
Beloved wife of the late John Miloian. Loving mother of Marilyn Stengle, Gloria Elkins and the late Gary Dodd. Dearest grandmother of Erica Berman, Ashley Dodd, Stacey Craig, Jason Dodd, Brent Dodd and the late Ryan Dodd. She is also survived by 9 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
In accordance with the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services Orders - The Molnar Funeral Homes is following and observing the 25 person cap on funeral attendance at one time. We are also practicing social distancing and masks are required for every person entering the building. Thank you for helping us keep everyone safe.

Betty Jean Miloian, 86, died peacefully in her home in Southgate, MI on March, 27, 2021. Betty was the wife of the late John Miloian, mother of Marilyn Stengle, Gloria Elkins and the late Gary Dodd, grandmother of Erica, Ashley, Stacey, Jason, Brent and the late Ryan Dodd, and great grandmother of nine.
She attended Elementary and High School in Alabama. Betty moved to Michigan and met and married John Miloian (late). She was a homemaker and loving mother and wife. She enjoyed cooking nightly meals for her family. She loved being with her family and entertaining on holidays and traveling to Alabama or Florida yearly.
She also loved home decorating and flowers in the yard, which she planted every year.

Our History
John Molnar, Sr. opened the Detroit Hungarian Funeral Home, now the Molnar Funeral Homes, in 1923. The funeral home began in his home until relocating across the street to it's Delray location at 8623 Dearborn Avenue, in 1936. He had a strong work ethic and believed that you should never stop learning...
