I was so saddened to hear of Tom's passing just today. He was the best sales rep and one of the friendliest guys I met during my time at Chrysler's Warren Truck plant. I don't know that I've seen Tom since high school or perhaps an early reunion, but I will always remember his infectious laugh and ability to light up a room. I sat next to him in a few classes and we always had a good time. I also remember him trying to buy an ice cream cone at McDonalds but they wouldn't serve him because he didn't have a shirt on. So he tried walking through the drive-thru lane to place the order!
I am quite sure he must have been a fun Dad. My condolences to his family for this tragic loss.

Rocky and Brooke, I am so sorry for your loss. I have never had the pleasure of meeting you but felt like I knew you from the many stories Tom shared over the years. He was so proud of his family!
Tom was one of a kind and argulably the greatest sales person I have ever worked with. I always looked forward to Tom coming to town, he always brought light into the room, his smile, laughs and jokes were infectious and always left you with a smile or story to tell someone else.
Tom you made this world a better place and all of us better for knowing you!

I have known Tommy so long he had hair and was skinny when we first met. We worked together 24 years, more importantly he was my friend. I don't think I was ever with Tom when I didn't laugh.
He was so very proud of his family. He was so incredibly happy when Brooke was born. He would send me videos of Brooke as she was growing up. Sharing stories of skating lessons all the way up to her graduation speech and taking her to college. You will never find a prouder Dad. He would beam when talking about Rockie and Brooke.
I am so sorry for your loss. Tommy was the best!

Tom was a joy to work with. He made people feel very comfortable & was a wealth of knowledge. When I started with Contec Tom was very welcoming & helped me to learn about the auto industry. His laughter would always bring a smile to my face. He was so committed to his customers & always looking out for them. Tom worked endless hours & was constantly in the plants to help problem solve or to make sure everything was going well.
Tom would check in to make sure everything was okay here in the Toledo office & would go out of his way to let the guys here know how much he appreciated them & the job that they did, He was very conscious on including others.
One time when Tom came to the office & I was at lunch, he flooded my desk with post it notes with random messages on them. Like, "Tom Wrobel was here" or "Tom Wrobel is Awesome". I saved those and I pull them out when having a rough day & they make me laugh. I will always remember Tom as a positive, funny, caring, devoted, committed, passionate about life guy.
There was & is only 1 Tom Wrobel & I am so thankful that I had the pleasure of working with him. He will be greatly missed.

Our cherished memories of Tommy go back many years ago! He and our son, Kirk, played many hours of hockey together on various teams here in downriver! Out of all of Kirk’s hockey buddies over the years, Tommy was a favorite! His contagious personality, even at a young age, was something to love about him! He was always welcome in our home, brought us much joy & laughter throughout those young & teenage years...& even got to spend a skiing vacation with us in Utah one year! Don & I are so very saddened and sorry for your loss! We will be remembering you all in our prayers.

What can I say, Tom Wrobal was a heckuva guy. His enthusiasm, his energy, his positive attitude , made the world a brighter place.
I’m sad that Tom is gone. But I’m very very proud to say I consider him a friend and I’m glad to of met him like many of you that are running condolences for him. You you must remember the good times you had with Tom in Your life.

Rocky & Brooke: June & I send all of our love & condolences. We are so sorry. I met Tom 24 years ago and we became fast friends & associates. First with Thunderbolt Products & then with Contec, Inc. Tom's calling card always was his honesty & integrity. His personality could light up a room with his mischievous smile. His work ethic was famous within the company & also with the automotive assembly plants that he had direct responsibility for, which were considerable. He was well known in Detroit, MI as Tommy Kaizen for his numerous ways of saving money for the assembly plants. He was very much loved by all the plant personal throughout Detroit, the United States & Mexico.
My favorite stories of Tom always concern great food & sporting events which may or may not have included local drinking establishments and/or parking lots.
His magical word was "Brooke". He would regale all of us with Brooke's many academic & sports accomplishments. These usually took up the morning meeting time.
The love of his life was Rocky & obviously all of the great looks in the family are from her.
Rest in peace Tommy. They broke the mold with you.

Met Tom during my first week of work with Contec, and found him to be a super nice and caring guy. Tom was such a wonderful person! I am heartbroken. I always looked forward to seeing him when he came in the office.
