Obituary of Pastor Henry Pittman
August 12, 1933 - July 23, 2021
Pastor Henry Pittman. Age 87 of Southgate.
Beloved husband of Annie May Pittman. Loving father of William Bradley (Melodie) Pittman, the late Hennrietta Eller, the late Michael Anthony Pittman, Walter Timothy (Stacy) Pittman and Christopher David (Tracy) Pittman. Dearest brother of J.B. Pittman, Sarah Ellen Chadwick, Gerline Parks and the late Lester Pittman. Also survived by 10 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
Family Tribute
Henry grew up in Highsplint Coal Mining Camp in Harlan County, Kentucky. He attended Evarts High School in Evarts, Kentucky. Henry served in the United States Marine Corps from 1952 to 1954. From 1959 to 1980 he was working as a maintenance supervisor at McLouth Steel in Trenton, Michigan. Henry was a pastor at Corinth Baptist Church, Macedonia Baptist Church, Goodell Baptist Church, Trenton Missionary Baptist Church and Dearborn Heights Baptist Church.
