Family Tribute

Sweet Sarah, who liked reminding everyone that her name meant "Princess", was on a journey in search of the beautiful things in life.  She loved those around her deeply which meant that she also felt the pain deeply.  She had a way of stepping up when least expected to care for people in their messy moments. Her natural ability to care for those in need was beautiful.  When her mom and dad had COVID, Sarah rushed into their house to care for them. She desired that all would feel and experience love and tried to live it out in the midst of her own pain.  She was comforted most by her dog Koa, her close friends, and her family.

Her beauty showed up in her eyes, her smile, her free spirit, and singing. She marveled at the little things with childlike wonder.  She loved collecting mementos that reminded her of those she cared about  and had a place in her home for each one of them.  She was a big sister, a little sister, a passionate dog mom, an aunt, a daughter and a friend.

Although she is not here with us today, she would want us to live life to the fullest, wear outfits that make you happy, sing out loud, go thrifting, smile and make connections with strangers, pet every dog and make space for Jesus' love in our life.
