Obituary of James 'J.D.' Danias

February 25, 1959 – August 20, 2021

James "J.D." Danias.  Age 62 of Southgate. 

Loving father of Lynae Danias, James (Jessica) Danias and Lindsey Danias.  Dearest grandfather of Chloe Gordon, Cameron Gordon, Bradley Crothers and Cole Danias.  Dear son of Sophie Pappas.  Brother of George Danias, Sam (Vicky) Danias, Angela (Michael) Carbonaro and the late Nick (Vickie) Danias.  Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

James Anthony Danias was born on February 25, 1959 in Trenton, Michigan. He was better known as JD. He passed away on August 20th in Trenton, Michigan. He is survived by his mother Sophie Pappas, his siblings George, Sam (Vicky), Ann (Mike) Carbonaro and his late brother Nick (Vicky).

He was a beloved son, brother, father, grandfather and uncle. James grew up in Southgate, Michigan and attended Southgate High School. After school Jim started his own painting business doing commercial and residential painting for his career from Detroit to Houston. While in Texas he picked up the nickname JD and a love of the Dallas Cowboys. He was a great friend to all. 

He was a proud father to Lynae, Dr. James (Jessica) and Lindsey. A beloved grandfather to Chloe, Cameron, Bradley and Cole. A proud uncle to many nieces and nephews. JD was always making jokes and could light up a room with his sense of humor. He will always be loved and missed but never forgotten.

He gained his heavenly wings and will be at peace reuniting with his brother Nick.
