Obituary of Edward R. Cochran
October 16, 1957 – September 20, 2021
Edward R. Cochran. Age 63 of Shelby Township.
Beloved husband of Sandra Cochran. Loving father of Raymond Bostic, Ryan Bostic and Nikki (Keith) Villes. Dearest grandfather of Allison, Skyyler and Navvy. Dear brother of Terry (Suann) Cochran, Mary Cochran and Randy (Carol) Cochran. Preceded in death by parents Ralph and Anna Cochran.
Memorial contributions are appreciated to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
Family Tribute
Edward went to Carlson High School and then Wayne State University after high school. Over the years he worked for TRW, Lear, Woodward, government, Cooper Standard, and Bosch. He was a fun, big-hearted, generous, reliable, and kind person. Edward was a family man always putting his family first. Edward enjoyed playing baseball for “Hairy Fishnuts.” He liked to go boating, fishing, play golf, collect coins, and build models. Edward will be remembered for loving his family, his honesty, being a genuine friend to people, celebrating holidays, and the little things. Around the holidays he always brought cheese and crackers with him and 10 pies for 8 people. He was a gentle giant with a subtle sense of humor. Edward was knowledgeable and well-read. He was a lover of good food and wine.
