Obituary of Kevin Joseph Duby

February 26, 1963 – October 3, 2021

Kevin Joseph Duby.  Age 58 of Belleville.

Kevin, age 58, passed away peacefully on October 3, 2021 with his family and close friends by his side.  Kevin is survived by his loving wife Lisa, her daughters Elise (Michael) and Nadine;   his mother Linda (Elbert), father Dan, sister Kim (Joe) nephews Chris (Nikki), Matt (Ashley) and niece Kaitlyn (Chris);  eight great nieces and nephews;  aunts, uncles, cousins and a few very close friends.  Kevin was preceded in death by his sister Shelly, grandparents Sherman and Elizabeth Duby, Katie and  Bernard Elbert.  Kevin was an Army veteran and worked at Ford as a CAD designer for many years.  This is where he met the future love of his life Lisa.  He later worked at DTE.  Kevin was an avid outdoorsman and was always up for an adventure and loved to live on the edge.  He loved fast cars, motorcycles and four wheeling.  He spent a lot of time at “freedom ranch” where he entertained close family and friends.  He loved to cook and was always working on his next latest and greatest recipe.  He also loved music and never listened to mainstream.  Loved going to concerts at huge venues and hole in the wall bars.  Kevin was a dog lover and always had a trusted companion by his side.  Louis and Stormy will miss him dearly.  Kevin’s circle was small but for those that were in it reaped the reward of Kevin’s huge heart. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

Cremation will take place at The On-Site Crematory located within the Molnar Funeral Homes - Brownstown Chapel.
