Obituary of Jeanette Marie Perry
July 27, 1938 – October 7, 2021
Jeanette Marie Perry (nee: Schaffner). Age 83 of Riverview.
Jeanette passed away peacefully on October 7, 2021 after a lengthy struggle with COPD. Jeanette was the loving wife of Gerald N. Perry, 60 yrs, cherished mother of Leecis M. Perry, dear daughter of the late Francis & Lenore Schaffner, loving sister of Richard (Karen) of Tuscon AZ, Donald of Scotsdale AZ, Thomas of Norvel Twp, MI and Lois Ann (Meyer) of Richmond VA. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Jean was a graduate of St. Patrick High School in Wyandotte and attended Nazareth College of Kalamazoo MI where she was a proficient Equestrian (English style). She was an employee of Michigan Bell for many years. Her favorite expression was “WHATEVER”. Jean was also a voracious reader and loved carrot cake. She enjoyed spending time with her daughter and many dogs. She will be greatly missed.
In lieu of flowers, Jean’s family requests donations be made to Michigan Humane.
