Patricia M. Morin. Age 84 of Riverview.

Beloved wife of Glen Morin.  Loving mother of Bode (Deborah) Morin, Carrie (Larry) Foggia, Matthew (Jen) Morin and Christopher Morin.  Dearest grandmother of Marie (Riley) Foggia, Nicholas Foggia, Alaina (Alex) Theiss, Mitchell Morin, Jack Morin and Taylor Allison.  Dear sister of Marilyn (the late Joe) Malick, Janice (Bill) Johnson, the late Marguerite Abraham, Jackie (the late Ron) Abraham, Rosie (the late Barry) Abraham and John (the late Jackie) Aoun.  Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Cremation will take place at The On-Site Crematory located within the Molnar Funeral Homes - Brownstown Chapel.

Life Tribute

Patricia Morin was born in East Liverpool, Ohio on August 14, 1937. She grew up on White Pond Drive in Akron with her four sisters, two brothers, and parents, very close to her many aunts, uncles, and cousins.  She went to St. Sebastian elementary school in Akron and graduated from St. Vincent High School in 1955. She always credited her father Bode for staying positive and pushing his children to be independent. She moved with her family to Lincoln Park, Michigan, and attended Marygrove College and the University of Detroit, graduating with a teaching degree. She later earned a master’s degree in education from the University of Michigan-Dearborn. She was passionate about teaching and worked for many years in Lincoln Park and Southgate Michigan in elementary and middle schools before retiring in the 1990s. Teaching was only a part of her life. Patty loved people and was devoted to her family and friends. She was a great cook, teacher, and supportive mother, grandmother, mother in-law, aunt, and friend, and made sure her children had all they needed, an education and happy, settled lives. She epitomized selfless, unconditional love to all around her and nurtured a special individual relationship with each and every one she knew. She loved the color red and big family parties, especially large Lebanese dinners. Although she loved crowds and family, she never wanted to be the center of attention. She always focused her attention on others.  She would never want to be remembered in any certain way but everyone she knew will remember the special relationship they had with her. We will all miss her laugh and love but will never forget the fullness of her heart or how she touched us every day.
