Keith William Lemmon Jr age 95, died November 7, 2021. Beloved husband of 73 years to Luree Lemmon (Pitt). Cherished father to Susan (James) Minneker, Rebecca Beehler and Keith Lemmon. Loving grandfather to 8, great grandfather to 15 and great great grandfather to 1. He is also survived by extended family Mr. & Mrs. Robert Pitt, Mr. & Mrs. Richard Pitt and Mrs. Ermilee Warman. And many nieces and nephews, lifelong friends and church community. Proceeded in death by his sister Mrs. Mary Jane Williams.
Keith was born on May 5, 1926 in Pittsburg Pennsylvania to Keith W. Lemmon Sr and Mary G. Lemmon (Black). He moved to Michigan around the age of 5 and attended school in Detroit. Upon graduating from Mackenzie High School, Keith enlisted in the United States Navy and proudly served our country during WWII.
If you asked 100 different people who Keith was you would get 100 different responses. An Electrician. A Corvette lover. A stain glass maker. An avid reader. A lover of sun and sea. But to his family his biggest role was that of a dedicated family man. He was always there to help his kids and grandkids with household projects, both big and small.
Family viewing is Thursday November 18, from 10:00-11:00am and open viewing from 11:00-1:00 pm. Service the same day at 1:00pm with Cemetery service immediately following at Michigan Memorial Cemetery.
