Obituary of Joey Martin II
September 14, 1979 – January 14, 2022
Joey L. Martin II. Age 42 of Taylor.
Beloved son of Joe (Sharon) Martin and Carol (Brad) Pruett. Dearest brother of Stephanie (Jason) Pente, Renae (Joey Zylla) Pruett, Stacey (Bill) Bench, Michelle Mulligan and Jennifer Jackson. Dear uncle of Zachary, Morgan, Connor, Lyla, Dakota and Ellie. Also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Family Tribute
Joe went to Wyandotte Public Schools his whole life and graduated from Roosevelt in 1998. He worked many jobs after graduation while taking college courses. Then he got his job at Chrysler in 2010 working on the line but he did receive his Associates Degree to further his career.
He was very dedicated to his job and his family. Joe was a very soft spoken person but when anyone asked for anything he was always there for them. He enjoyed playing hockey, watching football and spending time with friends and family.
Joe would love to be remembered as a hard worker, love for his family, proud of all his nieces and nephews, his hard rock, a huge fan of UofM, Steelers and the Red Wings.
In lieu of flowers the family asks to donate to The Michigan Humane Society in Joe's name due to his love for his animals.
