Obituary of James P. Watts
March 17, 1960 - January 24, 2022
James P. Watts. Age 61 of Lincoln Park.
Beloved son of Walter and Charlotte Watts. Loving brother of Timothy Watts. Dearest uncle of Stephanie, Ashley and Olivia. Dear nephew of Shirley (Don) Patterson, Jack (Irene) Watts and the late Richard (Patricia) Watts. Also survived by many cousins and extended family members.
Cremation will take place at The On-Site Crematory located within the Molnar Funeral Homes - Brownstown Chapel.

James P. Watts. Age 61 of Lincoln Park.
Born March 17, 1960, to Walter and Charlotte (Bunna) Watts. James graduated from Wayne Memorial High School (Class of 1978) and went on to obtain his bachelor's degree from Eastern Michigan University.
James was a jack of all trades which allowed him to be successfully self-employed (i.e: snow removal, lawn care and asbestos testing). He was also a substitute teacher for Lincoln Park, Detroit and Dearborn public schools. He coached swimming for Wayne Memorial High School, Garden City East High School and John Glenn High School and taught golf lessons at the Pine Creek golf Course in Van Buren Township. James enjoyed teaching and it showed with the success rate his students earned in his asbestos certification class he led.
James was a University of Michigan Fan and enjoyed many sports, including playing softball, broomball and fishing. He was a member of the Historical Society of Delray and known as “The Professor” for the local radio station for his keen memory and “Know it all” intelligence. James will be remembered by family and friends for his tough persona, humor and his constant encouragement.
