Obituary of Larry Stamper
February 23, 1949 - January 30, 2022.
Larry Eugene Stamper. Age 72 of Taylor.
Beloved husband of the late Sharon Stamper. Loving father of Cassandra (Joseph) Clever, Leonard (Reeda) Gillham, and Sherry (John) Hoggle. Dear brother of Chris (Vicky) Stamper and Debbie Michaiski. Dear brother-in-law of Brenda (Dan) Darga, Shelia (Larry) Simm, and the late Donna (Earl) Carey. Dearest grandfather of Dakotah Clever, Elijah Gillham, Faith Gillham, Tess Gillham, George Gillham, Nikkole Hoggle, Joshua Hoggle, and Natilie Hoggle. Great-grandfather of Zakk, Kalli, Harper, Acie, and Ellie Kate. Dearest friends of Kathleen (Roy) Randall.
Also survived by an immeasurable number of loving cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Larry was a proud veteran of the Vietnam War, where he earned the rank of Sergeant. He was a retiree of Great Lakes Steel, where he worked as a machinist for over 20 years. He also was a volunteer of the Taylor Veterans Museum.
