Obituary of George Hindbaugh

October 24, 1941 – November 20, 2017

George Hindbaugh, Age 76 of Lincoln Park.  

Beloved husband of Beverly Hindbaugh. Loving father of Debra Michaels, Lisa (Robert) Fleming and John Hindbaugh. Dearest grandfather of Jennifer, Keith, Katie, Robert, Adam, Natasha and Rachel. Dear great grandfather of Gemma, Noah, Rowan, Brayden, Cassie, Damon, Jackson, Erin, Peyton, Kerslyn and Hudson. Brother of Ralph (the late Shirley) Hindbaugh. Brother in law of Monroe Hindbaugh. Preceded in death by parents Marie Silvassy and John Hindbaugh and brother Robert Hindbaugh. 

FAMILY TRIBUTE

George was a man of simplicity. He didn’t want for much and he was happy for you to just be yourself around him. He loved his mother and father and though his brothers were scattered around the country as adults, they were always in his heart. 

He married his high school sweetheart and together they had three incredible children. To provide for his family, he wore many hats eventually taking employment with Ford Motor company until his retirement. 

Cars were his true passion. On the weekends, you could find him showing off his cars at the latest can show. Together he and his wife enjoyed many a trip together to show off his prized cars and trucks. 

He had an infectious laugh. He would drop everything to help a friend in need and was always there to give advice and counsel when asked. 

He will be truly missed and we are all blessed to say we knew him . . .
