I remember when I first met Phyliss and Mark. I was 8 years old and lived two doors down from them. Sara and I bonded over our love of barbies, disney, and music. We quickly became friends and their home was like my second home. My dad and Mark would spend hours helping each other with their vehicles and talking about Harleys. They were the sweetest.
I remember when I was 19, pregnant, and found myself alone. I had to move out of my apartment, no longer being able to afford it. Sara immediately helped me pack, and brought me home. Mom and Dad Amroian as all of us "misfits" called them didn't think for more than a second about letting me stay. They gave me a refuge and peace in more ways than they ever knew. They took so many of us under their wings over the years and never ever gave up on any of us...even when the rest of the world had. They were a safe place for so many, and brought a bright light to dark times. I personally could never thank them enough, and know for a fact that if it weren't for their compassion and understanding I wouldn't be where I am today.
Mom was a giver, a helper, a friend in need, a comic when needed, and would give the shirt off her back to anyone who may have needed it. She gave so much to so many, and never wanted anything in return. She will ALWAYS be one of the sweetest, most loving human beings I have ever met. I will miss her.
I am sending all the healing vibes to Sara, Anela, and the rest of her family. I know the pain they are facing right now. Always remember she is now watching over you. It isn't goodbye, it is see you later.
