Obituary of Earnest D. Bryant
July 1, 1953 – March 31, 2022
Earnest Dale Bryant, age 68, of Newport Michigan passed away on Thursday, March 31, 2022 at Beaumont Trenton Hospital. He was born July 1, 1953 in Prestonsburg, Kentucky. Earnest is survived by his wife of 48 years, Jeannetta Bryant; Daughter, Shirley Bryant of Southgate, Michigan and Son, Jason Bryant of Brownstown, Michigan; Grandchildren, Amanda Nasser and Noah Bryant of Southgate, Michigan.
Earnest is the son of the late Webster and Edna Bryant of Teaberry, Kentucky. He was one of ten children. Both parents and seven brothers proceeded him in death. Tom, Ralph, Jimmie, Roger, Lonzo, Timmy and Orville. He leaves behind two sisters, Bethel (Ballard) Martin of Teaberry, Kentucky and Grethel (Phillip) Inman of Delton, Michigan.
He graduated from Betsy Layne High School, 1971, in Kentucky and married Jeannetta Hamilton Bryant on December 22, 1973. He retired from Ford Motor Company in Dearborn, Michigan. His interests included going to Church, gardening, watching Kentucky (UK) basketball, and vacationing with his family in Kentucky and Tennessee. He will be missed by all that knew and loved him.
