Obituary of Michael P. Geresy
Michael P. Geresy. Age 65 of Brownstown.
Dearest brother of Donald (Nella) Geresy, Gary Geresy and Patricia Kish. Dear uncle of Stephen (Kelly) Geresy, Donella (Joseph) Stenger, Brian (Tara) Geresy, Brandon (Jennifer) Kish, Jennifer Kish and Todd Kish. Also survived by 9 great nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents George and Bernice Geresy.
Family Tribute
Michael graduated from Melvindale High School. He worked at Wolverine Gasket and Manufacturing Company in River Rouge from 1975-Dec 1998 as an airlay operator trainee. Then went to work at Laimbeer Packing in Melvindale from 1989-Dec 2001 as a folder glue operator. Then went to work at Wayne County Road Commission from 2004-2005 as a seasonal worker. Then went to work at Wayne County Airport Authority as a field maintenance worker from 2006-2021. He retired October 2021 doing what he loved with great coworkers.
Michael would do anything for his family. He enjoyed traveling to see all his family no matter where they lived. He loved going to Tawas to hang out with family at the hunting cabin. He loved hunting but enjoyed hanging out more. He especially enjoyed playing cards at the casinos.
He will be truly missed by everyone that knew him.
Memorial contributions are appreciated to Beaumont Hospice.
Cremation will take place at The On-Site Crematory, located within Molnar Funeral Homes – Brownstown Chapel.

Our History
John Molnar, Sr. opened the Detroit Hungarian Funeral Home, now the Molnar Funeral Homes, in 1923. The funeral home began in his home until relocating across the street to it's Delray location at 8623 Dearborn Avenue, in 1936. He had a strong work ethic and believed that you should never stop learning...
