Peacefully and surrounded by family, Maria “Nena” Sirenia Gutierrez (Doña Mari), entered heaven on September 10, 2022, at the age of 83.
Beloved daughter of late Manuel and Herlinda Gutierrez. Dearest sister of Adela, Manuel and late Rodolfo Gutierrez. Beloved wife of late Gonzalo Gutierrez. Dearest mother of Mariana Gutierrez, Miguel Gutierrez and late sons Juan and Gonzalo Gutierrez. Loving grandmother of Idamis, Julissa, Yahaira, Xenia, Glenys, Gonzalo “Chalo” and great-grandmother of Xavior, Zhaiden, Keiran, Juanito, Diego and Xadrian.
Maria was born on May 9, 1939, in Los Nogales, Agualeguas, Nuevo Leon, Mexico. She devoted her life to her family and close friends. Her ability to light up the room with her humor, unconditional love for others and the strength she provided for everyone will be missed. A loving mother and homemaker, Maria was a remarkable cook and enjoyed preparing meals for her loved ones. For many years leading up to her passing, she enjoyed traveling back to her sweet home in Mexico, talking on the phone with loved ones and looking through store catalogs. Maria loved spending time with friends and family, where she felt the most comfortable and loved.

Amada hija del difunto Manuel y Herlinda Gutiérrez. Queridísima hermana de Adela, Manuel y el difunto Rodolfo Gutiérrez. Amada esposa del difunto Gonzalo Gutiérrez. Queridísima madre de Mariana Gutiérrez, Miguel Gutiérrez y sus difuntos hijos Juan y Gonzalo Gutiérrez. Querida abuela de Idamis, Julissa, Yahaira, Xenia, Glenys, Gonzalo “Chalo” y bisabuela de Xavior, Zhaiden, Keiran, Juanito, Diego y Xadrian.
María nació el 9 de mayo de 1939 en Los Nogales, Agualeguas, Nuevo León, México. Dedicó su vida a su familia y amigos cercanos. Echaremos de menos su capacidad para iluminar el mundo con su humor, amor incondicional por los demás y la fuerza que brindó a todos. Madre amorosa y ama de casa, María era una talentosa cocinera y disfrutaba preparando comidas para sus seres queridos. Durante muchos años antes de su fallecimiento, disfrutó viajar a su casa en México, hablar por teléfono con sus seres queridos y mirar los catálogos de sus tiendas favoritas. María le encantaba pasar tiempo con amigos y familiares, donde se sentía más cómoda y amada.
