Obituary of Aileen W. Parker
September 2, 1931 – November 13, 2022
Aileen W. Parker. Age 91 of Wyandotte.
Beloved wife of Louis Parker. Loving mother of David Parker, Carol Burgess, Jill (Eric) Richards and Susan Parker. Dearest grandmother of Ashley (Brian) Welch, Brandon (Karlie) Burgess, Kayla Bednarski, Lauren Bednarski, Alyssa Bednarski, Tessa Bednarski and Frank Bednarski. Dear sister of Juanita (Gerald) Graf.
Family Tribute
After graduating from high school, Aileen attended Marymount School of Nursing in Sudbury Ontario, after a few years of working in Canada she moved to the United States and settled in Wyandotte where she eventually became the nursing supervisor at Wyandotte General Hospital. It was during her time working at the hospital where she met cared for Lou. The two were married a short time later and enjoyed 62 wonderful years together. Her loving and caring personality carried over into every aspect of her life.
Aileen was a devoted Catholic could be seen at Mass weekly and volunteered her time with various groups. Outside of work and church she enjoyed, baking, playing cards and spending time with her family and friends. Aileen was famous for her homemade baked goods, especially her apple pie and butter tarts, her quick wit and infectious smile.
She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.
