February 18, 1957 - November, 27, 2022
Richard Cooper. Age 65 of Southgate.
Musician, son, and brother, Richard "Rico" Cooper, age 65, sadly passed away on Sunday, November 27, 2022, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Rico was an excellent musician formerly playing keyboards for Mitch Ryder and the Detroit Wheels among many other bands and great musicians. Rico's ultimate love was jamming on the keyboards and writing music. Rico is survived by his three sisters, Jody, Jacki and Janie, many loved ones and friends. Tributes for Rico - Requests from the family are that all musicians dedicate their next live jam to Rico and all others share a hug with their loved ones. May your last words to each other - always be "I love you".
A private service will be held at a later date.
Cremation will take place at The On-Site Crematory located within the Molnar Funeral Homes - Brownstown Chapel.
