James Douds. Age 85 of Wyandotte.
Dearest husband of Barbara Douds. Loving father of Deanne Douds, Judi Radmer, Laurie (Ed) Weber, James M. Douds, Jeffrey J. Douds and the late Susan L. Douds. Dear grandfather of Claire (Cody) Vernatt, Courtney Douds and Dennis Weber. Great-grandfather of Benjamin Tweedley and Baby Vernatt in February. Dear brother of Tokeah Sobczyk. Preceded in death by his parents Charles and Gladys Douds, brother Jess Barsodi and sisters Eva Sugg and Betty Misciwicz.
The family requests no flowers. Donations may be made to a charity of choice in memory of James.
FAMILY TRIBUTE
Mr. Douds was born in 1932 in Wyandotte and graduated from Wyandotte High School in 1950. He was a life-long resident of Wyandotte. He was a devoted family man, loving his wife of over 63 years and his six children.
He retired from McLouth Steel in 1996 after working for 37 years to spend time with his children and grandchildren.
He enjoyed playing golf, bingo and liked his scratch off lottery tickets.
He will be remembered as a loving, caring husband, father, grandfather, and friend with a great sense of humor.
