Obituary of Marilyn A. Phillips
June 18, 1942 – January 29, 2023
Marilyn A. Phillips. Age 80 of Wyandotte.
Loving mother of James Phillips and Mary (Michael Buddie) Summers. Dearest grandmother of Raymond Summers. Dear sister of James Knight, Timmy Knight, Richard Knight, Walt Knight and Sandy Engdahl. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Marilyn was a lifelong Southgate Lowe’s employee. She was born and raised in Gibraltar and graduated from Trenton High School in 1960. Marilyn was an avid football and golf fan. Her favorite holiday was Thanksgiving and she loved '57 Chevys, gardening and doing needlepoint.
Memorial Contributions are appreciated to the American Cancer Society.
Cremation will take place at The On-Site Crematory, located within Molnar Funeral Homes – Brownstown Chapel.

Our History
John Molnar, Sr. opened the Detroit Hungarian Funeral Home, now the Molnar Funeral Homes, in 1923. The funeral home began in his home until relocating across the street to it's Delray location at 8623 Dearborn Avenue, in 1936. He had a strong work ethic and believed that you should never stop learning...
