Obituary of Sidney Hall
August 24, 1942 - February 12, 2023
Sidney Hall. Age 80 of Wyandotte.
Beloved husband of Linda Hall. Loving father and stepfather of Edwin (Tressa) Carson, Lisa (Kevin) Gipson, Jerry (Kathy) Hall, Tammy (Kelly) Ruettinger, Bill (Janice) Hall and Michael (Rose) Garrison. Dear brother of Billy (Hoa) Hall and Paul (Joyce) Hall and brother in law of Neil (Becky) Clark. Also survived by 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Draxie Hall; brothers: Roy, Willie and Guy Hall; and sister, Wilma Hall.
~ Family Tribute ~
Born in Weeksbury Kentucky and raised in Virgie Kentucky, Sid graduated high school and proudly served in the United States Army from 1964 - 1966. Eventually moving to Michigan, he settled into a long career at the former Marblehead Lime company in River Rouge.
He would marry his first wife, Angeles Lynn, and have three children while setting up residence in Wyandotte Michigan.
Later he would meet the love of his life Linda Clark , and the two would remain Wyandotte residents for nearly 40 years. Upon his retirement the two would spend years snowbirding to Texas with his favorite brother in law, Neil Clark.
Sid enjoyed collecting hats, county music, flea markets and sweets.
