Obituary of Susan Davis

June 3, 1950 – March 3, 2023 

Susan Davis.  Age 72 of Romulus.

Beloved mother of Sutia (Da’Carri) Queen-Hobley and the late Damon Davis.  Mother-in-law of Sakeenah Davis.  Loving grandmother of Devin Southard, Serenity Davis, Damon Davis II, Xavier Sutton, Destané Queen, Elyo Ely, Alex Masanet-Murray, Zion Burns and Jevon Carlock.  Dear aunt and best friend of Danielle Williams. 

Cremation will take place at The On-Site Crematory. located within Molnar Funeral Homes - Brownstown Chapel.

Family Tribute

Susan Davis, daughter of the late Lonnie and Susie Davis, was born June 3rd, 1950 in Ecorse Michigan. 

Susan attended Ecorse High School, where she was an avid softball player, graduating in 1969. She then moved to the Detroit area, working as a union representative for General Motors Automotive for 30 years before retiring. 

Susan often enjoyed shopping,  traveling on different cruises, frequent trips to Las Vegas, shopping, chess and did I mention shopping? Her shopping hobby was so impressive she turned her basement into a nice walk-in closet, never in need of a new outfit before a last minute trip. 

Her greatest passion was her family, especially her grandchildren. Constantly throwing extravagant BBQ’s on the weekend (Rain or shine), so her family and friends had a place to get together.

Susan will be remembered for her outgoing personality, kindness and her quick wittiness.

Susan will especially be missed by her daughter Sutia and her wife Da’Carri, daughter-in-law Sakeenha, grandchildren Devin, Serenity, Damon, Xavier, Destane, Elyo, Alex, Zion, Jevon and her niece Danielle.
