Janet Reed Davison. Age 75 of Grosse Ile.
Beloved wife of George “Dave” Davison II.
Loving mother of Todd (Andrea) Davison and Matthew (Lisa) Davison. Stepmother of George (Barbara) Davison III and Gordon (Barbara) Davison. Dearest grandmother of Mckenna, Ayden, Ella, Morgan, George IV, Vivian, Gwen, and Shea (Will). Dear sister of Rob Olds. Cherished cousin of Sandy Cooke. Also survived by her favorite child, Bella the dog. Preceded in death by her parents Robert and Marjorie Olds.
Cremation will take place at The On-Site Crematory, located within Molnar Funeral Homes - Brownstown Chapel.
Interment at Homewood Cemetery in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Janet Olds Davison (Sammy), 75 years young of Grosse Ile Michigan passed away on May 13, after a long battle with lung cancer.
A burial is planned at Homewood Cemetery of Pittsburgh Pennsylvania at 2:00 PM on June 10, 2023. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Molnar Funeral Home of Wyandotte Michigan and The Homewood Cemetery of Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. Family and friends are welcome.
Janet was born in Washington DC on October 11,1947. She graduated from Yorktown High School of Arlington Virginia and continued to receive a liberal Arts degree from Chatham College of Pittsburgh.
Janet was married to George (Dave) M. Davison II on March 18,1972 in Arlington Virginia. They were married 51 wonderful years.
Janet worked as a social case worker for the county of Allegheny of Pennsylvania, an assistant librarian for the City of Shaker Heights Library of Shaker Heights Ohio, secretary for the Crown Group of Wyandotte Michigan and a favorite office substitute at the Grosse Ile School administration offices.
She enjoyed being equipment manager and first newsletter editor for the Grosse Ile Football Little Devils for seven years along with her knitting and gardening. She mostly enjoyed family. Beginning in 1999 she helped design, build, and maintain their Isla Mujeres home in Mexico.
Janet is survived by Dave, sons Todd and Matthew, Stepsons George III and Gordon and grandchildren; Ayden, Ella, Mckenna, Gwen, Shea, Morgan, George IV and Vivian, brother Rob and cousin Sandy along with daughter-in laws Lisa, Andrea, Barbra and Barbara.
Janet is preceded in death by her father Robert T Olds and mother Marjorie Stuart Olds.
Janet is affectionately known for her kindest and caring. She will be remembered as that person that everyone who knew her “LOVED HER”
