FAMILY TRIBUTE
He attended Fulgham High School in Kentucky where he and Kathy were high school sweethearts. They married shortly after graduating in 1953 and moved to MIchigan where Bill began working at General Motors. He worked 30 years at GM and retired at 48 years old. He had already been doing evangelistic work and started Victory Bible Baptist Church in the basement of his home. He served on the Board of Director at the Detroit City Rescue Mission for several years as he continued to pastor. Mt. Calvary Baptist merged with Victory Bible Baptist in approximately 1978 where he has continued to pastor until his passing.
