Obituary of Clyde Preston Walters
August 23, 1934 - January 20, 2024
Clyde Preston Walters. Age 89 of Brownstown.
Beloved husband of Eva Walters. Loving father of Michelle (Brian) Wilson, Michael Walters, Vicky Bolan, Audrey (David) Acquisti, and Steve (Cathy) Walters. Dear brother of Aubrey, Erie, Clarence, Faye, and Wanda. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents Charlie and Gladys (Shupe) Walters and siblings Dion and Edna.
Clyde was born in Princeton, West Virginia. After he served in the Navy, he went to work for and eventually retired from Ford Motor Company after 34 years. Clyde was also a Trustee for the City of Brownstown for 12 years and owner of Green Acres Landscape for 25 years. In addition to being a longtime member and usher of Our Lady of the Woods Catholic Church in Woodhaven, he was also involved with the Masons, Shriners, and many other fraternities. In his spare time, Clyde enjoyed golfing, bowling, going to the shooting range, and working on his car and motorcycle.
Cremation will take place at The On-Site Crematory, located within Molnar Funeral Homes - Brownstown Chapel.
