Obituary of Joanne "Ioanna" Roussis

Joanne "Ioanna" Roussis. Age 95 of Southgate.
In loving memory of Joanne "Ioanna" Roussis, the dear wife of the late George Roussis. She was a devoted mother to Patty Panayiota (Ilias Chatzis) Roussis and Priscilla Persephone Roussis, as well as a cherished grandmother to Dean Spyropoulos and George Spyropoulos. Joanne is remembered fondly as the dear sister of Catherine Pantoleon and sister-in-law to Emorfia Kotsou, Pagonitsa Samartzis, Evangelia Alexandropoulos, and Paraskevi Kountouriotis. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and great nieces/nephews.
Joanne was preceded in death by her parents, Giorgios and Persephone Kotsou, sisters Aggeliki Golematis, Athanasia Gikas, and brother Demetrios "Jim" Kotsou. Additionally, she mourned the loss of her brother-in-law Thanasis Roussis and sister-in-law Cleopatra Papathomas.
Memorial contributions in Joanne's honor are appreciated for St. George Greek Orthodox Church in Southgate, Michigan, or the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Monastery in Smiths Creek, Michigan.
