Obituary of Sandra Vauris
February 7, 1938 - January 26, 2024
Sandra Lee Vauris. Age 85 of Woodhaven.
Loving mother of David (Diane) Vauris, Michael (Michele) Vauris, Tracy (Richard) Nickell. Dear sister of Roger (Margaret) DeShetler. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren and 1 on the way. Preceded in death by husband Larry and son Donald Vauris.
Cremation will take place at The On-Site Crematory, located within Molnar Funeral Homes - Brownstown Chapel.
Memorial contributions are greatly appreciated to Angela Hospice.
Family Tribute~
Sandra was born in Detroit in 1938. When she was about three years old, her family moved to the city of Dearborn. She graduated from Edsel Ford High School.
Sandra worked at the Detroit office of the FBI for a few years. During that time, she met and married her husband, Larry. They had four children together. Sandra had also worked at Hudson’s Department Store as a sales clerk.
In 2009, Sandra moved to Woodhaven and lived there up until her passing. She had a love for stuffed animals, especially teddy bears. Elvis was her favorite singer and she was able to go to one of his concerts.
