I want send my deepest sympathies to Walt’s family. I worked with Walt at Cadillac and Powertrain, about 25 years total. We had a lot of similar interests and a lot of good times during work and outside of work. I was grateful to be such good friends with him. I know he will be greatly missed by everyone. Rest in Peace.

Walt and I were part of the "Helen Street Gang". Our parents were friends when we were about three years old. We watched when the private airplanesf rom Hansen's Airport took off, right across the street from us. It was located across the street from our houses. All the stores were not built yet....salvation army, the catholic store, Toys R US, Red Lobster...all not there. It was an airport. We would gather our pennies and butya a Black Cow at the Dog and Suds. We caught minnows in the little stream across the street. Walt, Marlene, Dave and I were inseparable. There was a candy store not far from our house. Many an hour, Walt and I would decide what candy it was gonna be. Licorice record,Mary Jane's squirrlsand sugar daddies. We grew up there. What a childhood.I'd play Jack's with Marlene while he and Dave would buy those caps you could put in a gun or hit with a hammer. It was a wonderful childhood. Our parents loved and honored each other, and we knew it. Now it has ended and you are walking the shores of heaven with you son and so many others. I remember when you were the ring bearer and I was flower girl for Madeline's wedding ( our neighbor)We had to be about 5. After the service, Walt asked the minister when he was going to marry Dawn and him. After all, I had a fancy dress and he had a tux! God bless you my dear cousin. I am glad the pain is over. Love you, Buddy. Till we meet again.

My deepest sympathy go out to Pat and their children. We had many good times together with Walt and Pat, some of them include my first Bob Seiger concert,and riding in some of his old Chevy's .He was a great friend and mentor, he will be greatly missed.
