Today, as we bid farewell to Pavan Dave, we mourn the loss of a remarkable young man whose light touched the lives of all who knew him. Pavan was more than a son, a brother, a cousin, a nephew, a grandson, a friend; he was a beacon of charm, intelligence, art and adventure.
From a young age, Pavan's spirit for exploration and his thirst for knowledge illuminated his path. His adventurous nature led him to seek thrills in every corner of life, whether it was scaling new heights in the great outdoors or crazy loops of world’s roller coasters or diving into the depths of captivating books. Pavan approached every adventure with a twinkle in his eye and a smile on his face.
In high school, Pavan's passion for running not only fueled his own spirit but inspired his younger brothers, Prahar and Tej, to embrace physical fitness on track & field. His leadership and encouragement ignited a flame within them that will continue to burn bright in his absence. His artistic abilities were amazing, his handwriting was beautiful and he sketched & painted with finesse. Some of those pieces adorn the walls of family and friends.
Pavan had faith in Shree Swaminarayan Bhagwan. Being incarnated into Satsang and a pious family, he had read many scriptures and gained religious knowledge. Pavan had a deep connection to his ancestral native place of Umreth. He had gained blessings from Maha mukto and reverted Santo. This remained a steadfast anchor throughout his life's journey, even during dark periods of his life.
Though Pavan's time with us was far too short, and his life ended way too early, the memories he leaves behind will forever echo in our hearts. His laughter, his mischief, his wisdom, his zest for life – these are the treasures we hold dear as we navigate the void left by his absence.
Dear Pavan, your soul is omnipresent, your spirit is indomitable and you accomplished all that you set your mind to. May your adventurous soul find peace in the eternal embrace of the divine, and we pray that Shree Swaminarayan Bhagwan grant you place at His lotus feet in Akshardham. And may those who mourn his loss find comfort and strength.
Om Shanti!
Jay Shree Swaminarayan!
