Obituary of Paul W. Schultz
January 27, 1946 - March 17, 2024
Paul W. Schultz. Age 78 of Woodhaven.
We are sad to announce the passing of Paul William Schultz. He was a proud resident and friend to everyone in the downriver community. He served his country in the Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. He spent 30 years of his career as a UAW automotive worker.
A Beloved husband of the late Joan Schultz. Brother to Janet and Dave. Loving father of Jakalyn (Brian) Powers, Bill (Kimberly) Schultz, Matt Schultz, and Daniela (Christopher) Windhurst. Dearest grandfather of Justin, Jerrica, Cari, Cara, Aaron, Sierra, Micala, McKenzie, Lexi, Aubrey, Analeigh, Ariella, and Alana. Also survived by several great-grandchildren and extended family.
Paul was an avid sports fan, but a true lover and die-hard fan of U of M football. He also was an active member of the Michigan Alumni Association. He loved his family and friends, and cherished his grandchildren who will forever remember him as "Papa Go-Blue".
If you are planning to attend visitation and/or services, in honor of Paul, please wear your favorite University of Michigan attire.
Memorial contributions are appreciated to Gift of Life and the Alumni Association of the University of Michigan.
