Family Tribute ~
Papa was such a kind, gentle and sweet soul. He really was the best Dad and Papa. We are so lucky to have had so much time with him. He was always smiling in his rocking chair when we would visit him. We will miss listening to him whistle, randomly start singing at the top of his lungs and whipping out his harmonica to show us his talents. He didn’t have the best rhythm, but boy was he enthusiastic! If you want to know Papa’s secret to living a long happy life, it would include eating lots of ice cream, cookies and drinking Mountain Dew. He was a simple man, he didn’t need much to satisfy him, but he was so happy and full of love. That is what we can all hope to have in life.
We will miss him dearly and can’t wait to see him in Heaven one day.
