Obituary of Sally Ann Cardwell
May 17, 1933 - April 18, 2024
Sally Ann Cardwell (Johnson) went home to be with her Lord and Savior on April 18, 2024.
Sally was surrounded by her family as they sang her favorite hymns and celebrated her life until the angels carried her Home.
Sally worked in the Romulus Public School district for over 22 years and she loved helping children. She was a member of Northline Baptist Church for almost 60 years and spent time working in the Nursery and Sunday School Program.
Not only did Sally love the Lord, but she also loved her family who will miss her dearly.
She was the beloved wife of the late Darrell Cardwell. She was a loving mother to Darrell Keith (Lynn) Cardwell, Kerry (Lisa) Cardwell, Kenneth (Rosemary) Cardwell, Kimberly (George) Salajan, and Kevin (Loredana) Cardwell, grandmother to 10 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren.
Sally was preceded in death by her parents Millis and Kelsie Johnson, her husband Darrell, and her son Darrell Keith.
Sally will be transported to Ohio for additional services and then laid to rest at the Salem Cemetery in Wellston, Ohio.
