Barbara Jean Reneau. Age 75 of Thompsonville, MI.
Beloved wife of David Reneau for over 40 years. Loving mother of Michael (Teresa) Moore. Dearest grandmother of Colton, Ella and Chase. Dear sister of Pam (David) Oley, Leonard (Sandy) Bonk Jr., Benedict (Rose) Bonk, Patrick (Mary) Bonk, Scott (Theresa) Bonk and Charles (Corey) Bonk. Sister-in-law of Bruce (Sharon) Burke and Ellen Engel. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents Leonard and Lena Bonk, parent-in-laws John and Eleanor Reneau, sister Annette Bumstead and brother-in-law Thomas Engel.
Barbara had a successful career as Licensed Practical Nurse for the State of Michigan, during this time is when she met her husband David in prison. Barbara was working as a nurse, while David was working as a correctional officer.
Barbara was also a long time member and often did volunteer work for both Our Lady of the Woods Catholic Church in Woodhaven, MI and St. Raphael of Copemish Catholic Church in Copemish, MI.
Her hobbies included reading, traveling, crafting (which included the numerous rosaries she made for St. Raphael) and fishing with her husband and grandchildren.
Above all, Barbara especially enjoyed visiting with her family and friends.
