Obituary of Rose Ann Nixon
October 12, 1955 - June 8, 2024
Rose Ann Nixon. Age 68 of Wyandotte.
Beloved mother of Nacol (Dee) Hicks. Loving grandmother of Megan (Tyler) Pummell and Allyson Hicks. Dear sister of Jason Stanley. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews as well as multiple cousins. Preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Mary Stanley; brothers, Ken Stanley and Joel Stanley; and sister, Yvonne Oldenburg.
Rose Ann graduated from Roosevelt High School class of '73.
She was a season ticket holder for U of M Hockey for over 20 years and loved traveling with the team. She was a lover of all animals- she fed all of the animals in the neighborhood. She was a great and devoted friend and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Our History
John Molnar, Sr. opened the Detroit Hungarian Funeral Home, now the Molnar Funeral Homes, in 1923. The funeral home began in his home until relocating across the street to it's Delray location at 8623 Dearborn Avenue, in 1936. He had a strong work ethic and believed that you should never stop learning...
