James D. Embree. Age 69 of Riverview.
Dear brother of Freeman (Ora), Ron (Kim) and Jerry (Jean). Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents Freeman M. Embree and Mary Margaret (nee: Gillis) Embree and brother Rod (Sarge) Embree.
James was a 1972 graduate of John F. Kennedy High School in Taylor, Michigan. He worked over 30 years as a union ironworker. Jim loved good food, good friends and was known to like an occasional adult beverage. Jim was known by many as he remained a lifelong resident of downriver. He was much loved and will be missed.
