Obituary of Cynthia A. May
September 24, 1968 – July 5, 2024
Cynthia A. May. Age 55 of Riverview.
Loving mother of Kelley (Nic) May, Stephany (Michael) Cobb and Curtis Clawson. Dearest grandmother of Eleanor, Theodore and Logan. Preceded in death by her parents, Theodore and Joan, and brothers Teddy and Kenny.
A celebration of Cyndi's life will take place at a later date.
Family Tribute ~
Cynthia Ann May (Denton) passed away on July 5, 2024. She was born September 24, 1968 and grew up in Wyandotte, MI. She returned to the area after raising her two daughters in Washington state.
She leaves behind her three children, Stephany (Michael), Kelley (Nic) and Luke; three grandchildren, Eleanor, Theodore and Logan; and beloved pets, Evee, Claire and Olive.
Cyndi was known for her love of music. She was an outgoing and kind person who went out of her way to make sure that everyone felt welcome.
In her free time, she enjoyed going on long road trips, trying new things and recently found interest in pickleball.
Cyndi is preceded in death by her parents, Theodore and Joan, and brothers, Teddy and Kenny. She will be remembered by her friends and family.
A celebration of Cyndi's life will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your local animal shelter in her honor.

I don't have words for the hurt in my heart. This is still surreal. My heart breaks for the kids and everyone that loved you. I always thought I'd go first. I am so glad that I got to see you and hug you again a few years ago. I wish things were different. I will pray for your babies. They all have a guardian angel now.
Rest easy. Know that you'll always be in my heart. You're all I think about when I see anything about Chicago and Def Leppard. Lol. Hopefully there are no railroad tracks or Van Halen songs in heaven.
