Family Tribute ~
Jeannette was born and raised in River Rouge, MI alongside her five siblings. Jeannette was married to her husband, James, for 61 years. Together they raised 10 children in the same River Rouge home she was born in. Jeannette helped build a foundation of having 10 children, 20 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. Jeannette loved to share stories from her own childhood with anyone who sat with her in the living room with a caffeine free Diet Coke. Jeannette assured us we lived a life filled with unconditional love and faith. She taught us to live a life lead with the Lord and trust in His plan. Jeannette left a legacy of having a loving devotion for the Lord and blessed mother. She prayed for everyone every day. More often lately we heard “I don’t know why the good lord is keeping me here”. Then she would say, “Maybe there’s no room for me”. We all knew it was because she still had work to do. You see, she prayed the rosary every day and sometimes twice a day and would name every single child, grandchild and great-grandchild. Her worry was always for everyone else and never stopped. So when the funeral home director asked us what her occupation was our response was us – her family! ❤️
