Obituary of Monica Esau
September 12, 1944 - July 25, 2024
Monica Jean Esau. Age 79 of Southgate.
Beloved wife of 60 years to the late Calvin “Cal” Esau. Loving mother of Tammy (Steve) Ferst, and Doug (Brenda) Esau. Dearest grandmother of Christie and Katherine. Dear sister of Barbara Alter and William Kozikowski. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Preceded in death by parents Stanley and Delores (Galganski) Esau, son Robert Marlin Esau, siblings Patricia Kozikowski, Michael Kozikowski, Mary Dankocik, and Stephen Kozikowski, as well as her twin Maureen Kozikowski.
Monica was devout in her faith, and spent many years teaching catechism. In her spare time, she enjoyed bowling, playing golf, and bingo. More than anything, Monica loved to spend time with her family and friends.
Memorial Contributions are appreciated to Paralyzed & Wounded Veterans of America or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
