Obituary of Colleen E. Barnett
September 19, 1942 – August 10, 2024
Colleen Elaine Barnett. Age 81 of Southgate.
Loving mother of Michelle Niewiadomski (John) and adopted daughter (granddaughter) Jordyn Barnett. Predeceased by her sons Michael Barnett (Penny) and Mitchell. She also had 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Colleen worked for Michigan Bell/AT&T for 30 years before retiring. She was very much involved in the Marine Corps League since her son was a Marine vet.
She was an extremely caring matriarch of the family and lived her life caring for her children and grandchildren. She was always willing to help anyone and volunteered at the VA Hospital. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
She did not want a service other than a church mass, so her wishes will be honored.
