Obituary of Margaret Etlinger
Margaret Olivia Etlinger, age 97, joined her heavenly family on August 17, 2024.
Born to Thomas and Betty Morgan in Boulder, Colorado on June 27, 1927, Margeret grew up in Lincoln Park where she enjoyed a wonderful childhood that she shared with her sister, Nova.
Margaret met the love of her life, Frank Etlinger, while attending Lincoln Park High School. They married on November 27, 1948 and had 2 sons, Frank Charles and Michael Thomas.
She was a member of the First Presbyterian of Allen Park.
Besides spending time with her family and friends, she enjoyed dancing and shopping. She touched many lives with her positive attitude and friendly personality.
She was a devoted and loving grandmother to Erin, Jamie, Brandon, Michael and Emily. She enjoyed loving on her great grandchildren Braden, Mira, Addelynn, Easton, Eli, Conrad, Charlie and Kate.
She is also survived by daughters-in-law, Monica and Sherry.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to Heart to Heart Hospice.
