Obituary of Stanley Joseph Prokop
July 29, 1954 – August 17, 2024
Stanley Joseph Prokop. Age 70 of Detroit.
Beloved son of the late Stanley and the lateJosephine Prokop. Loving brother of Theresa (Douglas) Greer, Andrea (Daniel) Dwarzski and Mary Ellen Carmody. Dearest uncle of 9 nieces and nephews, 16 great nieces and nephews and 1 great-great niece.
Stan was a US Navy veteran and worked for the United States Post Office for 34 years. He was an avid bowler who acquired many rings for bowling a perfect game with a score of “300”. He was a sports fanatic! He loved all sports and he had a wild sense of humor. His sisters, nephews and nieces meant the world to him. Stan will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
A private family memorial will be held.
Inurnment will take place at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly.
