Obituary of Clifford R. Tue

December 27, 1931 - August 23, 2024

Clifford R. Tue.  Age 92 of Trenton.

Clifford Ray Tue, known by his friends and family as Jack, was never without a kind word to offer. Always quick with a joke or to lend a helping hand, Jack made quick friends wherever he went. His dedication and love for his family was unmatched. A Korean War veteran and devout Christian, Jack was a valued member of the Downriver Honor Guard as well as Woodhaven Free Will Baptist Church.

Jack met the love of his life, Ruth Hutchison, in Detroit in 1949 and they were married June 24, 1950. Jack and Ruth were inseparable, whether taking trips back south to visit family, driving out to the country to see covered bridges, or hosting countless birthdays and holidays at their home in Trenton. Even after Ruth’s passing in 2011, Jack spoke of her frequently and fondly. May there be solace in knowing they are reunited.

Jack was the definition of how to be kind and caring in a difficult world. He was deeply loved by his family. Loving father of Debra (Marty) Dodson and the late Donald (the late Sue) Tue. Cherished grandfather of Todd (Andrea), Matthew (Lauren) and Christie (Corey). Proud great grandfather of Maybelle “Mac”, Althea, Cael, Jackson, Caroline, Charlotte and Henry.
