Family Tribute
Priscilla's life was filled with love, dedication, and a true passion for music and service. A proud graduate of Flat Rock High School in 1967, she went on to earn her associate degree as a medical assistant from Cleary College. Her caring heart extended beyond her career—she was a devoted volunteer at Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church in Flat Rock, where she also sang in the choir and played handbells, sharing her beautiful gift of music with her community.
For over 40 years, Priscilla was a cherished member of Sweet Adelines, where she competed in regional, national, and international competitions, earning numerous first-place awards. She gave generously of her time, organizing fundraisers and supporting the group she loved. Music was a thread that wove through her entire life, from playing the clarinet and piano to serving as a twirling baton and drum majorette in the Flat Rock Marching Band during her senior year.
Priscilla’s greatest joy came from spending time with her two granddaughters, who were the light of her life. She also found joy in crocheting, creating beautiful blankets and afghans for her loved ones. Among her favorite projects were the "scrubbies" she lovingly made for the church.
After dedicating more than 25 years to the Howard Hughes Medical Research Institute, Priscilla retired, leaving behind a legacy of compassion, creativity, and unwavering devotion to her family and friends. Her memory will be treasured by all who knew and loved her.
