Family Tribute
On October 15th, 2024, we lost a beloved Husband, Father, Papa, Brother, Uncle, Cousin, and Friend—Gregory Bohn. He was a man with a heart of gold, always putting others first and offering his unwavering love and support to everyone around him. We are devastated by his loss and still grappling with the overwhelming reality that he is no longer with us. His presence filled every room with warmth, and he touched countless lives with his kindness, generosity, and selflessness.
As we move forward, we hold tightly to the memories and love Greg leaves behind. He was the rock of our family, devoted to his greatest love—his wife, Renee—and to his cherished children, Justin (David) and Erica. His heart was full of pride and joy for his grandchildren, Brooklynn (15), Benjamin (13), and Peyton (10), who were always at the center of his world. Greg’s love also extended to his sister Lisa (Bruce), and to his grandchildren Mason and Lily, who held a special place in his heart.
While we mourn this tremendous loss, we also celebrate the life he lived—a life marked by love, laughter, and selflessness. His legacy will forever be etched in our hearts, and we will carry his spirit with us always.
With respect to Greg’s final wishes, cremation will take place. A Celebration of Life and Memorial Luncheon will be held Sunday, October 20, 2024, 2-5:00 PM, Mario’s Restaurant, 4222 2nd Avenue, Detroit, MI 48201.
