Melissa Ann Brossoit. Age 40 of Dearborn Heights.

Beloved wife of Aaron. Dearest sister of Joseph Ferguson. Also survived by her loving nephew, Tyler Ferguson, as well as many other nieces and nephews. She also loved her furry children, especially her cat Zoey.

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Melissa Ann Brossoit (Ferguson), age 40 of Dearborn Heights. Beloved wife of Aaron Brossoit.

Melissa was born on March 21, 1984. She is survived by her two brothers, friends and family, including several nieces and nephews, as well as her nephew Tyler, with whom she shared a special bond. She was preceded in death by her father and mother.

Melissa had a deep love for her seven fur babies, with her sweet cat Zoey holding a special place in her heart as the one who chose her as her person.

Melissa graduated Cum Laude from John Glenn High School in 2002, Henry Ford Community College with an Associate’s in Business in 2008, and received her B.S. degree in Paralegal Studies from Eastern Michigan University in 2010, graduating Magna Cum Laude. She excelled as an extremely dedicated and enormously talented paralegal.

Melissa placed family and friends at the heart of her life, always supporting them, lifting them up, and helping them in any way she possibly could with unfailing loyalty. Melissa’s kindness, compassion, and heartfelt love for her family, friends, and pets will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her.
