Obituary of Margaret M. Miller
October 30, 1949 - November 1, 2024
Margaret M. Miller. Age 75 of Novi.
Margaret Mary Christina Theresa Armstrong Miller was born in Philadelphia, PA on Sunday, October 30th, 1949, to James and Rose Armstrong, shortly after her twin sister, Roseann (Abecunas). She had a life-long mission of learning, and teaching what she learned whether it was to her children (natural or chosen), grandchildren, through the HeadStart preschool program or in her church parish at St Elizabeth’s in Wyandotte, MI, where she lived most of her life. She started her professional career late in life, after raising 8 children, and made quite an impact as a Psych Nurse at various hospitals and most recently caring for inmates at Ryan Correctional Facility in Detroit. But Margie’s true passion was always family. Being in the midst of what some might call chaos, her family gatherings usually consisted of 30-50 people at once and it was never too much. On Friday, November 1st (just 2 days after her 75th birthday) and perhaps not so coincidentally also All Saints Day, she left us to finish her journey home, after 75 years of earthly life.
Margaret was predeceased by her parents, James and Rose Armstrong¸ as well as siblings James, William, Joseph, Michael, Edward, Ann, Marie, Lillian, Joan, and Florence. Survived by her brothers, John and Robert and her sister, Roseann (Abecunas).
Beloved mother of Thomas (Holly) Miller, Jennifer Miller, Joy Miller, Peter (Theresa) Miller, Katie (Sabastan) Knight, Mark (Jennifer) Miller, Bradley (Alexandria) Miller and Daniel Miller.
Beloved grandmother of Ashley-Lynne, Katelynn, Rilei, Hannah, Michaela, Haylee, Emma, Collin, Brynn, Maya, Sabastian and Ellie.
