Obituary of Rose Anna Zimmerman
In Loving Memory of Rose A Zimmerman
April 16, 1930 - January 21, 2025
Rose A Zimmerman, a devoted wife to her late husband Robert (Bob), beloved mother of Robert Jr. (Sandy) and Mary Lea (Hank), cherished grandmother of Robyn (Stew), Calvin (Laurie), Lincoln (Desiree), Robert III (Becky), Ryan (Amber), Ellen, and Rebecca (Bill), and adoring great-grandmother of John, Anna, Emily, Kameron, Joshua, Titan, Ryleigh, Bianca, Piper, Ella, Camilla, Gage, Marlowe, Quinn, Alana, Everly, Champ and Montana.
She will rest with her late husband of 60 years, Bob, and their beloved dog, Sarah.
Rose lived a full and vibrant life, guided by her belief that "if there’s a will, there’s a way." A headstrong woman with a memory as sharp as a tack and a wit that brought laughter to many, she brought joy to those around her with her fun-loving spirit and zest for life. She took the phrase "it's a woman's prerogative to change her mind" to new heights. If she asked you to do something, it would be done before you had a chance if you weren’t right on it.
Her passion for playing cards and games, crafting, knitting, crocheting, bowling, golfing, and traveling kept her active and vibrant. She was also a decorated athlete, earning multiple awards in the Senior Olympics— a true testament to her determination and competitive spirit, at least when she had competition. Her determination, fun-loving spirit, and competitive streak were just a few of the many qualities that made her who she was.
As a proud member of TOPS and later the Red Hat Society, she loved connecting with others and embracing life’s many adventures.
Her strength, humor, and endless creativity left a lasting impact on everyone she met. She reminded us to live boldly, not to waste time, and not to hold on to regret.
