Obituary of Richard Adam Drozdowski
May 16, 1933 – March 29, 2018
Richard A. Drozdowski, Age 84 of Southgate.
Beloved husband of the late Iris Pearl. Loving father of Kathryn Ann Shank, Patricia Mary (Mike) Zolner, and James Adam (Shelly) Drozdowski. Dearest grandfather of Michelle (Mike) Garcia, Dana Shank II, Jennifer (Tyler) King, Eric (Kristen) Zolner, Lauren Fitch, Kristen (Steve Emshwiller) Drozdowski and Bradley Drozdowski. Dear great grandfather of Malia and Maddox Garcia, Dana “Trip” Shank III, Abigail and Benjamin King, Kendall, Leah and Mason Fitch, Rosalie and Jacob Zolner and Henry Emshwiller. Brother of Stanley (Kay) Drozdowski and Dorothy McAllister. Preceded in death by son in law Dana Shank. Richard was a U.S. Air Force veteran and heavily involved with St. Pius X Church and community activities. Member of the Knights of Columbus and Wyandotte American Legion, he was a proud and patriotic American who would always place God and country on top shelf. He was an avid Detroit Tigers fan and loved UofM football. He always preached the 5 F’s FAMILY, FAITH, FRIENDS, FOOD AND FREEDOM! Richard will be missed for his loving deeds, kind words and expressions throughout the community and by his family.
